Ready2Respond is an initiative hosted at The Task Force for Global Health (TFGH). A Secretariat based at TFGH supports the planning and execution of activities, including communications and resources mobilization.
Ready2Respond is:
Expert-led: A Strategic Advisory Group made up of world-renowned seasonal influenza and pandemic preparedness experts from Europe, Africa, Asia, North and South America supports a coordinated, deliberate approach.
Action-oriented: Our activities are prioritized based on countries’ needs, identified through a survey performed in 109 LMICs. Expert Working Groups, made up of Ready2Respond partners, provide technical advice to ensure targeted projects lead to lasting change.
Evidence-based: We mapped the current stakeholders working on seasonal influenza and/or pandemic influenza preparedness along the seasonal influenza value chain to identify program, policy, technical and funding gaps.
Collaborative: We work with and through partners to enable LMICs to strengthen their national vaccine deployment systems. This approach fosters cross-sectoral thought-leadership, promotes best practices and reduces duplication of effort with other initiatives.
